[Setup Time: 10 Min.] [Current Condition: Good]
A 5-lbs weight is suspended by string beneath a 10-lbs. weight, which itself is suspended by string beneath a sturdy support. Although the tension in the top string is initially three times as great, the bottom string will snap if the 5-lbs. weight is pulled suddenly.
[As I do not have a standard setup for this, please give me some advanced notice to put it together]
